Step inside a lesson ↓01 / THE LESSON FLOW
FROM “I CAN’T GET THIS”
TO “I KNOW WHAT TO TRY.”
A song gives us a starting point.
Your voice shapes the lesson.
A flexible flow, shaped around you.
- 01 BEFORE
Bring a song.
Choose something you want to sing. Get familiar with it and flag a line that feels difficult. It doesn’t need to be polished.
- 02 LISTEN
Find the focus.
Check in, warm up, and sing a section. Rifte listens, gives feedback, and helps choose a useful place to start.
- 03 BREAK IT DOWN
Work the detail.
Slow down a phrase or isolate a note. Try a focused exercise for what your voice needs, with feedback as you go.
- 04 PUT IT BACK
Sing it again.
Bring the exercise back into the song. Hear what changes, adjust together, and connect technique to expression.
- 05 BETWEEN LESSONS
Take it forward.
Leave with a clear practice focus. Bring back what felt easier—and what didn’t—so the next lesson builds on it.
02 / WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE
LESS GUESSING.
MORE PURPOSE.
Technique makes more sense when you
can hear where it belongs in your song.
Illustrative lesson focus
Take one phrase.Find a freer approach.
Instead of repeating the whole chorus, we might isolate the approach to a high note, explore the vowel or register transition, and try it again in context.
Illustrative lesson focus
Slow the melody down.Make each note intentional.
We might isolate a tricky interval, listen to the target notes, and sing the phrase more slowly before returning to the song’s tempo.
Illustrative lesson focus
Keep the technique.Make the song your own.
We might explore the meaning of a lyric, try different phrasing or vocal colors, and compare the choices that feel natural to you.
Your focus could also be breath control, tone, agility, confidence, or performance preparation. We choose what serves your voice and your goals.
03 / ROOM TO LEARN
YOU DON’T NEED
TO ARRIVE PERFECT.

“Rifte consistently encouraged me to correct mistakes in a supportive way that made me feel at ease and helped my confidence and skills.”VI · STUDENT FEEDBACK
A little preparation.
A better starting point.
What should I prepare?
Have a song in mind, the lyrics nearby, and a question or goal you’d like to work on. You don’t need to perform the whole song perfectly.
What do I need for an online lesson?
A reliable internet connection, a clear working microphone, conversational English, and a space where you can sing comfortably. Booking times are shown in your local timezone.
What if I don’t know which song to choose?
Start with a song you enjoy and tell Rifte what you find difficult. If you’d like help choosing before you book, ask Rifte.
How much should I practice?
The practice focus should fit your current voice and goals. Discuss a realistic routine in the lesson, then bring back what you noticed so it can be adjusted.
